 Shani Dham Trust continues to play a key role in Disaster prevention& management in the region. The role of the Trust became very evident during one of the road accidents in which a truck carrying more than 220 people overturned and rolled down into a valley in Desuri. 168 people died.The Trust immediately made available ambulances, blood, medicines, food and other basic needs. Cremation of dead bodies was performed by Social workers of Trust.Paramhans Daati Ji Maharaj embraced all orphan children during accident and resolved to reconstruct their life at Gurukul, Alawas. |

Meharangarh Tragedy:

 Similarly- when disaster struck the Meharangarh forth near Jodhpur- Paramhasn Paramhans Daati Ji Maharaj ensured that Shree Shani Dham Trust was the first to react with aid to the affected families. Each of the 216 victims received Rs. 10,000 from the Trust- a cheque for RS. 21.6 LACS was handed over to the divisional commissioner managing the relief operations in Jodhpur. |

Thal Tragedy:

 The crash down of the well endangered the lives of trampled down laborers. At this hour of need Shree Shani Dham Trust provided the facility of one JCV to help in pulling the trodden laborers and arranged food for all afflicted people. Paramhans Daati Ji Maharaj ji Maharaaj expressed the grief for dead people and extended the financial help of Rs. 50,000 cash, one Quintal of wheat, 10Kg sugar, One tin of oil and other daily need commodities to each family. Paramhans Daati Ji Maharaj ji Maharaj met the bereaved families and consoled. Paramhans Daati Ji Maharaj adapted 10 children of this tragedy stricken families and undertook the responsibility of their complete nurture, education and marriage. These children are availing all facilities to retrace their lives by residing at Gurukul Aashwasan Baal Gram, Alawas, Sojat, Rajasthan. |
